SkyWalker Property Partners is an entrepreneurial commercial real estate investor focusing on investment within the Office, Industrial, Flex and Retail market segment. Our expertise lies in sourcing value-add opportunities of mid-size properties in Texas and throughout the southwest and bringing the expertise and resources needed to execute project repositions, thereby recognizing the potential value within the acquisitions.
Representing more than 60 years of investment experience, President Gary Walker, Chief Operating Officer Carol Coffman-Sosebee, and Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management Clint Holland have assembled and lead a seasoned team of real estate professionals. We dare to be different through shared principles, investment philosophies, accountability, and through execution of these principles throughout our business platform.
Gary Walker is Founder and Managing Principal of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors DFW, and SkyWalker Property Partners, LLC in Arlington, Texas.
Gary started his career in the late 1980s at the start of the historic real estate collapse in Texas. Walker thrives with a hard work ethic and a win-win mindset, and continues after 25 years to represent tenants and landlords as a commercial real estate broker. In 1992, he founded SCM Real Estate Services, a full service brokerage firm providing property management for commercial properties, medical office, project leasing, investment sales and tenant representation. In December 2013, he merged SCM with Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance, a New York City based national firm. In 2016, the Alliance merged with CBC Advisors, the largest CBC group in the US. The original company mission of Making Places Better has continued with the new CBC Advisors partnership.
Gary is Founder and President of SkyWalker Property Partners, Inc., formerly known as Walker Property Advisors. SkyWalker is the Manager of the Hangover Opportunity Fund, LLC, a discretionary fund formed to purchase investment real estate. The fund has purchased 21 properties from 2010 through the present, valued at $50 million. Gary has served as general partner of numerous real estate investment partnerships over the past 15 years, and has invested individually since 1990.
Also, Gary is Managing Principal of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors DFW, a full service brokerage and property management firm (www.cbcadvisors.com). CBC Alliance shares offices with SkyWalker Property Partners in Arlington. The twelve licensed Agents at CBC Advisors average 15+ years in the industry, and have closed over $100 million in sales transaction and leased over 3,000,000 square feet.
Active in real estate industry organizations, Gary’s memberships include the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (board service 2011-2012), The Society of Commercial Realtors of Fort Worth, and the Real Estate Council of Fort Worth, and he has participated in the Society of Exchange Counselors.
Baylor University is Gary’s alma mater, and he is a member of the Bear Foundation and the 3 Point Club. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance, and has completed numerous continuing education courses to maintain his license as a Texas real estate Broker. In addition, he completed a multi-class program at the University of Texas at Arlington in Property Repositioning in 2011. In 2013 he attended Harvard’s Executive Education, spending a week with real estate leaders from around the world for the Real Estate Management program. He is a graduate of Leadership North Texas and Leadership Arlington.
Carol Coffman-Sosebee is chief operating officer for SkyWalker Property Partners. As head of operations, she is responsible for acquisitions due diligence and execution of turn-around strategies for improving each property and its value. Educated in professional property management accounting, she is skilled at leveraging the portfolio for cost savings in insurance coverage, electricity and property tax valuation.
Before joining SkyWalker Property Partners and affiliate, SCM Real Estate Services, Coffman-Sosebee was vice president and controller for Swearingen Management Co. in Dallas, where she was responsible for accounting and administration of a 10 million-square-foot portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties. Client ownership of the Swearingen portfolio included Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Prudential Real Estate Investors and Wells Fargo Asset Advisors. She has held similar positions at Koll Management Services and Trammell Crow Co.
Coffman-Sosebee received a master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and completed undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has been a Certified Property Manager since 1987. She is active in the Fort Worth chapter of BOMA and Dallas chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women.
Coffman-Sosebee, a native of Temple, Okla., has called the Dallas area home since 1977. She and her family live in Cedar Hill in the DFW area.
Clint Holland serves as the Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management for SkyWalker Property Partners. Clint brings a wide range of project skills and experience gained through more than 16 years in the commercial real estate industry serving in various positions including acquisitions, asset management, banking and development.
Clint most recently served as a principal consultant of RC Healthcare and Director of Development at Beucler Properties whereby he was responsible for securing and coordinating new development opportunities. He played an active role throughout the development process starting from project underwriting, securing debt and equity, through construction and completion and ultimately asset disposition. Over a 7 year period Clint oversaw the development and asset management of a portfolio of medical, multifamily and self-storage projects value in excess of $150,000,000.
Prior to joining Beucler Properties, Clint handled asset management and analyst duties at Hudson Advisors, the management division of Lone Star Funds. His responsibilities included the management of real estate assets valued in excess of $100 Million and included product types such as multifamily apartments, retail, hotel, and office buildings across North America.
Clint received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University and his Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Nick McCandless serves as an Acquisitions Analyst for Skywalker Property Partners. His role includes financial analysis and decision support during the due diligence process for prospective acquisitions. Nick assists the Asset Manager with implementation of the property’s business plan, forecast updates, and exit strategy models. He has been a member of Skywalker Property Partners since September 2016.
Prior to joining Skywalker Property Partners, Nick was a Land/Lease Analyst at Bounty Investments in Fort Worth, TX, where he monitored and analyzed oil and gas wells, property data, and leases. Nick received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas in 2016.
Iris Davila has been with the company since May 2008 as executive assistant and PR business relations director for SkyWalker Property Partners and SCM Real Estate Services.
Davila's duties include outreach at community events to build relationships with potential business partners for both companies and promote their corporate mission – "Making Places Better."
Internally, she oversees communications and scheduling for the two companies and their executive teams plus serves as the personal and professional assistant for company founder, Gary Walker.
