SkyWalker Property Partners is an entrepreneurial commercial real estate investor focusing on investment within the Office, Industrial, Flex and Retail market segment. Our expertise lies in sourcing value-add opportunities of mid-size properties in Texas and throughout the southwest and bringing the expertise and resources needed to execute project repositions, thereby recognizing the potential value within the acquisitions.
Representing more than 60 years of investment experience, President Gary Walker, Chief Operating Officer Carol Coffman-Sosebee, and Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management Clint Holland have assembled and lead a seasoned team of real estate professionals. We dare to be different through shared principles, investment philosophies, accountability, and through execution of these principles throughout our business platform.
Earning the marketplace's respect as an entrepreneurial investor, Gary Walker, president of SkyWalker Property Partners, has served as managing partner for more than 25 commercial real estate investments since 1990.
Walker is the managing member of The Hangover Opportunity Fund LLC, successfully building a portfolio of value-add acquisitions funded by investment pools of individual investors seeking strong returns. SkyWalker Property Partners' current portfolio, valued at $125 million, exceeds 550,000 square feet of office, industrial, retail and residential space.
Walker's commitment to making places better underscores each investment. Throughout his career, he has trusted in strong values, creative solutions and hard work to guide his investments and establish benchmarks at all professional levels in his companies – SkyWalker Property Partners and Stewardship Commercial Management Inc. (SCM Real Estate Services).
Walker sits on the board of directors for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Communities in Schools of Greater Tarrant County, ArtHouse Condominium Association, Trinity River Vision TIF and Entrepreneur Organization Fort Worth. He is a former commissioner of the Arlington Housing Authority Board and former precinct chairman for the Republican Party of Tarrant County. His memberships include the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Baylor Angel Network. He is a graduate of Leadership North Texas and Leadership Arlington.
The Fort Worth resident is an active volunteer of Big Brothers and Big Sisters; Homes of Hope, an organization that provides housing in Baja, Mexico; and YMCA youth coach. His community service and contributions also include Y programs, Arlington Historical Society and Levitt Pavilion.
Carol Coffman-Sosebee is chief operating officer for SkyWalker Property Partners. As head of operations, she is responsible for acquisitions due diligence and execution of turn-around strategies for improving each property and its value. Educated in professional property management accounting, she is skilled at leveraging the portfolio for cost savings in insurance coverage, electricity and property tax valuation.
Before joining SkyWalker Property Partners and affiliate, SCM Real Estate Services, Coffman-Sosebee was vice president and controller for Swearingen Management Co. in Dallas, where she was responsible for accounting and administration of a 10 million-square-foot portfolio of office, industrial and retail properties. Client ownership of the Swearingen portfolio included Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Prudential Real Estate Investors and Wells Fargo Asset Advisors. She has held similar positions at Koll Management Services and Trammell Crow Co.
Coffman-Sosebee received a master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and completed undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has been a Certified Property Manager since 1987. She is active in the Fort Worth chapter of BOMA and Dallas chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women.
Coffman-Sosebee, a native of Temple, Okla., has called the Dallas area home since 1977. She and her family live in Cedar Hill in the DFW area.
Clint Holland serves as the Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management for SkyWalker Property Partners. Clint brings a wide range of project skills and experience gained through more than 16 years in the commercial real estate industry serving in various positions including acquisitions, asset management, banking and development.
Clint most recently served as a principal consultant of RC Healthcare and Director of Development at Beucler Properties whereby he was responsible for securing and coordinating new development opportunities. He played an active role throughout the development process starting from project underwriting, securing debt and equity, through construction and completion and ultimately asset disposition. Over a 7 year period Clint oversaw the development and asset management of a portfolio of medical, multifamily and self-storage projects value in excess of $150,000,000.
Prior to joining Beucler Properties, Clint handled asset management and analyst duties at Hudson Advisors, the management division of Lone Star Funds. His responsibilities included the management of real estate assets valued in excess of $100 Million and included product types such as multifamily apartments, retail, hotel, and office buildings across North America.
Clint received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University and his Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
SkyWalker Property Partners' project manager Cris Velasquez has more than two decades of skilled-trade experience in construction, building maintenance operations and commercial property oversight. His strong background in HVAC, electrical and plumbing results in effective execution of construction projects, including on-time and on-budget completions.
Cris joined SkyWalker Property Partners in 2013. He previously oversaw the 233-acre Solana campus for Maguire Partners after relocating to North Texas in 2007 from his native California. During his career, he has worked for ABM Engineering as a journeyman and assistant chief, whose duties included oversight of an engineering crew, tenant improvement development, security and supervision of janitorial services. He also was assistant chief of operations for California-based Douglas Emmet Co., where he worked closely with high-profile tenants like Yahoo and E! Entertainment.
Cris attended Santa Monica College and Los Angeles Trade Technical College, both in California. In addition to holding numerous trade certificates, he is a graduate of the journeyman program of Local 501 of the International Union of Operating Engineers, which serves the greater metropolitan area of Southern California.
Iris Davila has been with the company since May 2008 as executive assistant and PR business relations director for SkyWalker Property Partners and SCM Real Estate Services.
Davila's duties include outreach at community events to build relationships with potential business partners for both companies and promote their corporate mission – "Making Places Better."
Internally, she oversees communications and scheduling for the two companies and their executive teams plus serves as the personal and professional assistant for company founder, Gary Walker.
