Waco Skilled Nursing Facility

In August 2022, Skywalker Property Partners purchased the Waco SNF/AL from its mezzanine lender at a steep discount to replacement cost. The mezzanine lender had taken possession of the facility following a long and arduous foreclosure process during which the distressed tenant-operator relinquished its Medicare licenses.  The mezzanine lender’s attempts to cure the property were thwarted by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the trapped value in the property, Skywalker partnered with skilled nursing operator Zelevie Health to acquire the facility and restore operations.
